Complement Arts
From an early age man exhibited his fondness for beauty by decorating the walls of caves with simple means and drawing on the walls and the tools that he made. With the progress of technology and the improvement in social life, the images became finer and more attractive.
Decorative arts are manifested in architecture through tileworks, brickworks, plaster works in the facades and interiors of buildings. Apart from their aesthetic attractions the crafts had close relationships with the applied aspects of the social life.
The integration of color and design in woven materials, such as carpets and decorative textiles as well as on the earthenware reveal the finer sentiments of the artists.
In view of the variety of the decorative materials in the museum, a special hall has been planned for the exhibition of such materials after general restoration and renovation of the museum.
