Periodicals Department

This department is in charge of identification, cataloguing, indexing and processing the collection of the library periodicals. The cataloguing of periodicals is performed in accordance with the rules of cataloguing of Anglo-American and basis of classification system of the American library of congress and classification extension of national library of I.R. of Iran.

Nowadays, periodicals department has about 731 title serials (Persian, Arabic, Latin serials and newspapers).232 titles of them are up-to-date and Most of them are unique and oldest periodicals printed in the country. Malek National Library subscribed NAMAYE databank.
